Sidney sheldon

I have always been a fan of Sidney Sheldon and his books. They have always impressed me and kept me at the edge of the seat while reading them. There is not much to expect though from these books, as they ar written on a simple formula of a hero/heroine with a flaskback to him/her, and a plot that is difficult to guess. And there is always the glamor quotient in his books, which has been a reason to get more and more readers to read those books. Some of his best books are The other side of midnight, blood line, the stars shine down, the naked face, tell me your dreams and Master of the Game. He is actually based in the city if Chicago in the state of Illinois in the United states of America. Apart from being a great novelist, he has also established himself as a great Broadway playwright and a hollywood screen writer. This is one guy who I will always admire.

An ode to friendship!!

There are not many times where you can get a testimony of who you are and what you are!!. I got this from a friend and am completely thankful for the time spent on this.

Ajai, I had know him for the past two and a half years, but only after orkutting, I think we got really close.. Thanks to orkut for that… ajai is the coolest person I ever met… firstly his handwriting.. omg, its too good but I still remember our first sem foc sir asking him “what are u saving pages for?”, with his obse in hand… dunno if he still remembers that.. Next the way he cuts classes ( he never attended any to cut) but I think he has hardly 10% attendance this sem..(Both physically and mentally calculated together).. but even then he manages to study very hard.. He is full of confidence and will.. I am sure he will come very successful in his career..

It is very touching when something like this turns up for someone. Vfery touched indeed.

Indian clinches trophy - creates history!!

India has done it again. It has done what it is best at - taking revenge. We did it to the Australians in the freedom cup. Now we have done it to the South Africans in the Future cup. The Indian team defeated South Africa to square the series 1-1, in the final test at Kanpur. Sourav Ganguly was adjudged man of the match and Harbhajan Singh was declared the plater of the tournament. The team was highly criticized when they were bowled out for 76 in the first innings of the second test at Ahmedabad. With this win, the team has silenced its critics. The Indian teams performance can be said to be excellent and was a treat to watch.

The Indians have always played good cricket and this is no exception and stands out as a example of the talent we have in this country. Especially, the win is very special since it comes as a fitting reply to the badly behaved Aussies and their over confidence has been completely destroyed and routed for good. But it remains to be seen if India can maintain this kind of a form for its forthcoming series. let us all hope that India keeps up this work and maintain their good form and go ahead crushing other teams and clinching more trophies and bring laurels to the country.

Inflation on the rise!!

For a country with a huge population which is on the rise every other day, the last thing that the country would want is the inflation rate to go up. But this is what is happening in this country. Thanks to a government, which does not give a damn to the feelings of the people of the country and does not heed to the demands of the majority of the country, who are poor and illiterate. A majority of the people are under the poverty line and hence this kind of inflation is bad for the country as well as the people of this country. I have no idea why the finance minister goes on increasing the prices and why he has been dormant without taking any efforts to reduce the increasing prices. This should be stopped and efforts must be taken to make sure that people do not suffer. It is completely in the hands of the Finance Minister to make sure that the price rise is kept on a check and the people are back to their happy self.
