Politics has never been my favorite topic of discussion. But the way the Indian Political system is heading is making sure that I write a post on this topic as well. In my frank opinion, the government at the center is pretty useless. It is a spineless government headed by Manmohan Singh as the prime minister. Even though he is the prime minister of the country, it is a well known fact, that it is Sonia Gandhi, the president of the Indian National Congress, who is running the country behind the back of Manmohan Singh. The government at the center is a coalition government and is completely dependent on its allies and coalition partners in the states. The state of the government is that it has to cater to the needs of all its allies and it acts to the whims and fancies of the parties. Such is the pathetic state of governance in this country. And one more fact that has to be looked into is the biased politics of this government. Ministers should be appointed on the bases of qualifications and experience, but here it is done solely on the basis of the advice and the favoritism of coalition partners. It is like, the partners demand certain portfolios for their party members and it is given to then under a carefully formulated agreement. This clearly reflects the sorry state of affairs of the Indian Government.

Indian clinches trophy - creates history!!
India has done it again. It has done what it is best at - taking revenge. We did it to the Australians in the freedom cup. Now we have done it to the South Africans in the Future cup. The Indian team defeated South Africa to square the series 1-1, in the final test at Kanpur. Sourav Ganguly was adjudged man of the match and Harbhajan Singh was declared the plater of the tournament. The team was highly criticized when they were bowled out for 76 in the first innings of the second test at Ahmedabad. With this win, the team has silenced its critics. The Indian teams performance can be said to be excellent and was a treat to watch.
The Indians have always played good cricket and this is no exception and stands out as a example of the talent we have in this country. Especially, the win is very special since it comes as a fitting reply to the badly behaved Aussies and their over confidence has been completely destroyed and routed for good. But it remains to be seen if India can maintain this kind of a form for its forthcoming series. let us all hope that India keeps up this work and maintain their good form and go ahead crushing other teams and clinching more trophies and bring laurels to the country.

Inflation on the rise!!
For a country with a huge population which is on the rise every other day, the last thing that the country would want is the inflation rate to go up. But this is what is happening in this country. Thanks to a government, which does not give a damn to the feelings of the people of the country and does not heed to the demands of the majority of the country, who are poor and illiterate. A majority of the people are under the poverty line and hence this kind of inflation is bad for the country as well as the people of this country. I have no idea why the finance minister goes on increasing the prices and why he has been dormant without taking any efforts to reduce the increasing prices. This should be stopped and efforts must be taken to make sure that people do not suffer. It is completely in the hands of the Finance Minister to make sure that the price rise is kept on a check and the people are back to their happy self.

Indian premier league
There is more than cricket when it comes to the India Premier League. Apart from the cricket and the hype that it has generated as India's costlier league and the first ever league that has been intiated by one of the ICC's member playing country, there is also the bolly wood quotient that the Indian Premier League enjoys. Since Priety Zinta and Shah Rukh Khna are the proud owners of the Punjab franchise and the Kolkate franchise which have christened themselves as the Punjab Kings XI and Kolkata Knight riders, other teams have decided upon booking bollywood stars as their brand ambassadors. THe mumbai team or the Mumbai Indian team has booked on to Hrithik Roshan and the Delhi dare devil team has booked up Akshay Kumar to be their brand ambassadors. Meanwhile the Chennai Super Kings team has stayed faithful to the South Indian Cinema Industry and has reserved Vijay as its brand ambassador. So there we have it. We have the names of the brand ambassadors for some of the teams and it has shown that the bollywood quotient has been quite unavoidable as far as cricket or the Indian Premier League is concerned. Watch the IPL and catch your favorite cine stars as well.
